Drake Making Moves...

But is he trying to head out the door?  This is exactly what it looks like considering that he decided to clean house and fire almost everyone working for him.  Allhiphop.com states the following:

Drake has split with his American management team Hip Hop Since 1978, and has hired the William Morris Agency to represent him.

The rap star, who is still signed to Cash Money Records, also fired his booking agents International Creative Management due to a difference in opinion on various business matters.

“Drake just felt like there were too many hands in his pockets,” the source told The New York Post. “He was getting pulled in too many different directions.”

The company manages a number of superstar rappers, including Young Jeezy, T.I., Lil Wayne, Just Blaze and Kanye West who, according to rumors, Drake is at odds with, which could explain the rapper’s departure from the Hip Hop Since 1978 camp, although neither artist has substantiated the reports.

You can't be mad at him for taking his career into his own hands!

Drake and Kanye Beefin'???

Word on the street is that Drake and Kanye West have entered a rivalry with one another and it's just getting started.  MediaTakeOut.com has the scoop and you can judge for yourself whether this is a legitamite beef or not:

MediaTakeOut.com has been hearing for MANY MONTHS, that rappers DRAKE and KANYE WEST don't like each other. Supposedly Kanye believes that Drake is STEALING HIS STYLE, and he doesn't like it.

And Kanye flexed his muscles a few months ago - and that move may have ended up costing Drake MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

Drake's album Take Care, was supposed to come out on his BIRTHDAY October 24th - to coincide with the release of his OCTOBERS VERY OWN clothing line. Well MediaTakeOut.com's insider claims that Kanye got Drake's album PUSHED BACK.

The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "Kanye West [had some samples] that were going to be on Drake's album - but at the last minute he wouldn't clear it - and they had to be removed from the album."

Drake's album was DELAYED for three weeks - causing UPHEAVAL in his release schedule. And according to one celebrity insider, likely cost Drake MILLIONS of dollars.

And Yeezy's not done messing with his younger rap rival. We're told that he has already penned a new Drake DISS TRACK - that will be on his next album.

Kanye just keeps finding ways to make us think that something just might be wrong with him!

T-Boz Files for Bankruptcy...

Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins has put her pride to the side and filed for bankruptcy.  TMZ.com offers more details below:

According to docs filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz found herself owing creditors $768,642.99 -- mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house.

The docs don't paint a picture of exorbitant spending -- she takes in $11,700/month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821.

TLC had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and four Grammy Awards ... but according to the docs, T-Boz only pulls in $1,200/month in royalties.

T-Boz might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she'd been able to collect the child support she claims she's owed -- which according to the docs is $250,000.

Don't worry T-Boz, if Toni Braxton can file for bankruptcy (twice) and still manage to live in that gorgeous mansion in LA, then we know you can bounce back too.

Conrad Murray Gets 4 Years...

Concerning the Conrad Murray trial, the Associated Press reports:

The doctor who was convicted in the overdose death of Michael Jackson was sentenced to the maximum four years in prison Tuesday in a finale to the tormented saga of the King of Pop.

Dr. Conrad Murray sat stoically with his hands crossed as Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor repeatedly chastised him for what he called a "horrific violation of trust" while caring for Jackson.

Michael Jackson's family told Pastor they were not seeking revenge but want the doctor who killed the superstar to receive a stiff sentence that serves as a warning to opportunistic doctors.  The family said in a statement read by attorney Brian Panish. "That is all we can ask as a family, and that is all we ask for here.  We are not here to seek revenge. There is nothing you can do today that will bring Michael back."

Murray's attorneys are relying largely on 34 letters from relatives, friends and former patients to portray Murray in a softer light and win a lighter sentence. The letters and defense filings describe Murray's compassion as a doctor, including accepting lower payments from his mostly poor patients.

Raymond vs. Raymond (AGAIN...)

If Usher thought his days in court with ex-wife Tameka Foster were over, he was sadly mistaken.  It seems that Usher has not been complying with the agreement set in place by the courts concerning their children and finances (apparently this involves her keeping her Saks 5th Avenue credit card).  Details below coutesy of ConcreteLoop.com:
According to the docs, Tameka claims Usher has repeatedly FAILED to obtain her permission to travel outside the state with the kids … which he’s legally obligated to do.
Tameka also claims Usher is required and has failed to:
– get her approval before hiring nannies
– give her first shot to watch the kids when he’s away for more than 8 hours
– allow her to take the kids for 2-weeks in the summer of 2011
– let her have custody of the kids during Christmas break 2010
Tameka also claims Usher closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card — which he specifically said he wouldn’t do — and now she can no longer take advantage of the “special benefits” the card offers. [Source]
It’s also noted in the documents that Usher is behing on his $5,000 a month nanny payments. All of which has totaled to $34,000!

Tameka feels that now that his career has picked back up she should be getting more in child support.

If all of this is true, Tameka just may end up laughing all the way to the bank (or at least back to Saks 5th Avenue)!
